By playing around with the mercury vapor pressure and the tube diameter, we can dial in exactly how much energy hits the page. If you crank up the wattage, you can run your lines faster. It gives you a tiny curing window, which is great because it stops the ink from migrating or smudging. No one wants a shipment of ruined prints. To fix that, we build airflow paths directly into the modules to pull heat away from the quartz.
