The Tech, Without the Headache
We set these bulbs up to just work. They run on standard line voltage—120V for the E26, 230V for the E27. So for most places, you don’t need to hunt down special transformers. We also fine-tuned the length of the lamp and the shape of the internal arc tube. This keeps the UVC output consistent and strong across the whole beam. It means you get the right level of germicidal power, whether it’s mounted high in a ceiling fixture or sitting in a standalone unit.
What’s Inside
The heart of it all is the quartz glass. It lets 90% of that 254nm wavelength through, and it handles the heat of a fast start-up without breaking a sweat. Inside, an amalgam coating keeps the output temperature stable. That’s how we avoid the power drop-off that you get with standard low-pressure lamps. And those E26 and E27 screw bases? They’re there for one reason: practicality. No special tools. No custom sockets. Just screw them in. It saves you time on installation and makes managing bulk orders a lot easier.

Now, the power comes with a trade-off. That concentrated UVC energy generates a lot of heat. So your equipment needs to be able to handle the temperature rise. Give them proper airflow, and they’ll last. Smother them, and their lifespan will take a hit. We make these to take a beating.
