We built this UV lamp cooling system to run on a 400V input, pulling 2500W of power. Why? Because you need serious heat, right where you need it, and you need it fast. The 300mm tube hits that sweet spot—compact enough to squeeze into tight spots, but long enough to spread the heat evenly. And here’s the thing: that kind of power comes with heat, so we paired it with a cooling fan that can actually keep up. Without it, the lamp would cook itself, and that just means a shorter life and more headaches.
The Tube That Keeps Its Head
Inside, you’ve got a quartz halogen tube—made for staying stable when things get scorching and for responding instantly when you flip the switch. The halogen cycle inside keeps the glass from blackening, so the output stays steady, even after long stretches of continuous use.
Plug In and Go
We went with an R7s connector for a simple reason: solid, clean contact. It handles the high current without sparking or arcing, so the connection stays reliable. That means you can drop this unit right in as a replacement—wire it up and you’re running again, no re-engineering needed.
Built for the Grind
This system is made for industrial UV curing and PET blowing—jobs that demand intense heat in a small footprint. The combo of high wattage, shortwave output, and forced-air cooling keeps the lamp steady, even when you’re running long cycles. The trade-off is heat, plain and simple. A 2500W load throws off a lot of it, so the cooling fan and ducting have to be sized to match. Get that right, and the lamp holds its temperature. That means fewer stops, fewer checks, and more uptime.
